It’s Tuesday all over again which means another PlaylistMix.com podcast!
On a day when the podcast was named on the shortlist for Best Podcast at the 2008 Irish Web Awards (I’m secretly thrilled but oh so surprised at the same time), I get to bring you another six acts, six more tracks from independent and podsafe acts – this week from the US, Canada and Scotland amongst others.
You’re treated to
As always, don’t forget to drop me an email (though there was a small flood in this week, or at least it felt that way on a submissions basis!) to podcast@playlistmix.com or check out the MySpace and add the podcast as a friend.
From the dark (literally) studio on a late Tuesday night, enjoy this week’s mix

Last week I mentioned the podcast had been longlisted for Best Podcast(er) at the 2008 Irish Web Awards. So I’m delighted to be able to turn around and say that the Playlist Mix Podcast, whose 37th show hits later tonight, has made it to the final five alongside Nialler9, Irish Beats, PC Live Radio and Mum Centric.
Getting nominated was a thrill, getting shortlisted is a real bonus. Looking forward to meeting the other podcasters, some of whom I already know or at least have spoken to (bar those behind Mum Centric), when the awards hit Dublin on October 11th.
For this evening though, it’s on to show #37 with more music, including a new track from Pato Banton… who’d have thought!

The Playlist Mix Podcast has been nominated (long-listed) for the 2008 Irish Web Awards, a new annual awards show celebrating the best of the Irish internet scene from podcasts to ecommerce, media to sport, entertainment education and more.
I’m delighted to see the show included amongst some of the creme of Irish podcasts. More more details, see my note on kenmc.com earlier today.
